New Pricing Starting Nov 2024
Starting from November 2024, Fibery pricing will look like this:
As a reminder, here is our current pricing (add $10 per user for the AI add-on):
As we did the previous time we changed pricing back in the tumultuous 2020, let me share our reasoning behind each key update.
Free plan for teams
For a long time, we used to have a free plan for individuals, but we removed it this January to focus fully on B2B. Fibery is a collaborative tool at its core and any PKM use cases are more of a side effect, showcasing the product’s versatility.
Now we’ll finally have a collaborative free plan. Not a camouflaged trial with the limit on database records, but a true free offering that a small team with simple processes can use indefinitely.
We hope having a free plan will reduce the friction of getting started with Fibery, especially inside departments of larger organizations where procurement might be quite a hassle. We also expect some existing paying customers to switch to Free and become slightly happier. We love happy customers, both because we have a heart and because it helps the word of mouth.
AI included into paid plans
When AI was all the rage, we mirrored what most products on the market (incl. Notion, ClickUp, and Airtable) did: introduced an AI add-on on top of the paid plans for $10 per user per month.
While this approach has become the de-facto industry standard, we don’t feel making an exception for AI is justified. We don’t sell granular permissions, file storage, or other resource-intensive services as add-ons. We also don’t sell keyboard shortcuts that make power users more productive across the tool. What makes AI special here?
We’ve considered various options (incl. allowing to purchase AI for selected seats for a higher price), but at the end arrived at the simplest solution: to include AI features into the regular plans. Most customers have to decide between Standard and Pro, monthly and annual: it’s enough of a burden already not to add the per-seat add-on complexity.
We’ve selected the limits to align with the current typical usage: if you are on Standard, it’s unlikely you will be forced to upgrade to Pro only because of AI. And if you are on Pro and have been hesitant to pay extra for AI, now is the time to try 🏄♀️.
Guests free of charge
For the last five years, in case you wanted to collaborate with an external partner, be it a client or a contractor, in Fibery you faced a choice between two subpar options:
- invite them as an Observer (ex-Guest) for free but without the option to edit;
- or add them as a regular Member and pay for the seat that is barely occupied.
After a long time thinking, you realize that, actually, none of the options is feasible: both Observers and Members can access all the user profiles in the workspace 😱. While this transparency is great within your organization, you and GDPR both prefer your clients not knowing about each other by default.
Simultaneously with this pricing update, we introduce true guests: type an email of someone who’s not a member of your workspace to share a project or a task with them.
Invite as many guests as you need for free on any paid plan. See what guests can and cannot do in our user guide.
Price increase for Standard and Pro
As human beings with basic empathy for our customers, we hate raising the prices. Our Pro plan has been $17 per user since its inception almost 5 years ago. Even if we adjust for inflation, it’s gonna be $21 in today’s money.
Now that we’ve included AI as well as unlimited free guests and commenters into paid plans, we feel that the 20% increase in price of Standard and Pro plans is as justified as it can be. Even with the new price, Fibery is significantly cheaper than a set of tools it typically replaces.
Our existing paying customers will have the option to renew their subscription on old terms till the end of February 2025. Those renewing an annual subscription or switching to one, will lock their prices for another year.

Limits for resource-intensive services
Our plans now differ not only in features, but also in resource limits: for example, the number of automation runs or integration syncs a month.
The reasoning is very simple: fair resource allocation. The strain on these services correlates directly with our costs, both in hardware and maintenance. Previously, we didn’t set the expectations right and got a handful of workspaces paying us very little but having millions of monthly automation runs and/or millions of integration entities.
Based on our data, we’ve set rather generous limits: 95% of users shouldn’t be affected at all. The rest 5% will have the option to optimize their usage (e.g. batch automations, decrease the frequency of integration syncs), or upgrade to a more expensive plan.
Today we are only announcing these limits so that our customers know what to expect, we won’t start enforcing them till December.
Transparent Enterprise plan
True to our principle of transparency, we’ve decided to publish the Enterprise plan price: $40 per seat per month for unlimited automations and integrations, SAML SSO, and tailored support.
It feels somewhat stupid having to explain having the price on the pricing page, but apparently “this is not how enterprise sales works” 🤷♀️.
