Replace the Status Meeting with the async daily check-ins

A status meeting (a stand-up meeting in Scrum) is a meeting where a team gets together in a room (or online via some video chat) and people speak one at a time. In most cases there are three questions to answer:

  • What did you do yesterday?

  • What are you going to do today?

  • Do you have any blockers or need any help?

Daily Check-ins Space replaces status meetings with a fancy check-ins feed. One meeting less every day is a good thing to have!

Daily Check-ins Space

In the Daily Check-ins Space, you can add your status when you want, read other people's statuses, ask questions and offer help via comments, browse related work fast. Daily Check-ins Space sends notifications every day to all teammates and reminds them to create a new check-in.

When you write a status message, you can quickly mention other people and mention your tasks using # command, thus linking status updates to the work itself!
